This hike starts at the Herman Creek Trailhead in Cascade Locks.
The hike starts uphill immediately with a few switchbacks that lead to a powerline clearing. Follow the trail under the lines and back into the forest. Continue climbing until you reach a junction with the Herman Creek Bridge Trail. Take the Bridge Trail and hike downhill until you reach Herman Creek Bridge. The bridge is a nice spot for lunch or if you feel like taking a break to cool off.
The trail climbs a bit steeper after the bridge and takes you up to the Pacific Crest Trail. Turn right at the junction on the Pacific Crest Trail and head gradually downhill and enjoy the views of Cascade Locks below. You will pass Pacific Crest Falls in about a quarter mile, it’s tucked back in, so make sure you’re paying attention or you may miss it. Keep going another quarter mile and you’ll reach the Pinnacles. There is some room here to stop and enjoy the interesting rock formations. To get to your car, head back out the way you came in.

Overall: This hike was pretty and had a few nice viewpoints, but we found the pinnacles a bit lackluster.
